Our dear friends Melissa and Gene Shoemaker have just received a devastating diagnosis of Krabbe Disease for their sweet 4-month old baby, Parker. 

Krabbe Disease is a fatal degenerative illness that affects the nervous system. Due to the rarity of the disease, Parker has to receive treatment for his illness in Pittsburgh, PA. This means that the Shoemaker’s will have to travel a significant distance, thus incurring travel expenses on top of mounting medical bills.  They have exhausted their leave, and although their employers are being gracious, time is running out and they need our help.

Please contribute whatever you can to help with the substantial costs associated with this unfortunate situation.  Anything you can give would be deeply appreciated. Let’s help lighten the load for the Shoemaker’s during this trying time.
