We are excited to share the latest chapter in the journey of Parkville Fiber Arts Cooperative (PFAC)! As we enter our third month, PFAC continues to thrive as an artist-run organization in Hartford, CT, dedicated to providing fiber art programming and accessible studio space. Since our launch in June, our mission has been to offer free programming to Hartford residents, and we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support from our community. Your belief in our vision has brought us this far, and we cannot thank you enough for standing by us.

As we look to the future, we’ve recognized the importance of sustainability in ensuring PFAC’s long-term success. With that in mind, we are thrilled to announce a pivotal transformation in our organization. This October, PFAC will be re-opening in a new space that we will share with two other like-minded organizations dedicated to making the arts more accessible in Hartford. This new space will allow us to expand our offerings, including larger-capacity workshops, private lessons, and a host of new benefits for our studio members.

Our move to this new location is an exciting opportunity that will enhance our ability to serve the community, but we need your support to make it a reality. We are redirecting our fundraising efforts to focus on the expenses associated with this move. Your generous donations will go directly towards covering the security deposit for our new space, purchasing shelving and storage solutions, and other essential expenses that will enable us to create a vibrant and welcoming environment for everyone.

Throughout the remainder of August and into mid-September, our focus will be on building our studio membership and preparing for our grand re-launch this October. We are currently accepting new studio members through August 15th—if you’re interested in joining our community, please check out our Patreon for more details. To stay updated on all things PFAC and to be the first to hear about our fall programming, follow us on Instagram.

Thank you for your continued support as we take this exciting next step in PFAC’s journey. We can’t wait to share what’s next with you!
