Parkway Diner & Employees Need Your Support

Please support the Parkway Diner and its employees.
For nearly 20 years the Parkway Diner has been a pillar of the Stamford community, but the outbreak of Covid-19 threatens our future. The most immediate impact is to the employees and their families. It is for them that we ask for your help now.
The outbreak has caused a sudden and unexpected closure of the diner, which has been financially devastating to our employees and their families. Not only have the employees been left with no income, they are also left fighting to make ends meet in the industry most affected by the virus, so there is no prospect for them to find work elsewhere right now. Our employees may have to say goodbye to a place they have called home for the past 20 years.
Many of you know Lushe, the owner of Parkway Diner, and her family. What you may not know, is that the Parkway Diner is the very representation of the American dream coming true. Lushe came to the United States, where she waited tables saving all her money, so she could bring her family here and one day own her own diner. Now that dream is at risk along with the livelihoods of her entire family and employees.
Lushe, her family, and her employees have been left suddenly fighting for their jobs and only source of income, so they need your help.
Lushe and the Parkway Diner along with their family and employees, have collaborated with countless community and charity events. From organizations like Domus who help local underprivileged children, to Curtain Call and their support of the arts, Lushe, her family, and her employees have been unwavering in their commitment to their community. Now we need to turn to the same community we have always loved and supported for help during this difficult time.
After 20 years of service we must ask you for your help. Any donations will be used to support Parkway's employees and to ensure the diner will continue to be a pillar of Stamford and its community for many years to come.
With your kind donation we may be able to save Parkway Diner and celebrate our 20th anniversary in a few months! Please help us keep this dream alive.
