Participate in Hunger Action Month: Donate to Food For All.

In 2008, Feeding America declared September as Hunger Action Month. This is a time to reflect upon how many of our neighbors are struggling to put food on the plate. The Washington Post recently reported that food insecurity is the highest in DC since the pandemic, with an estimated 74,000 people unable to feed themselves sufficiently. They need support.

Food For All DC has been on the front lines for 40 years, providing over 200 home deliveries weekly for the most vulnerable. We are a crucial resource for case managers looking for healthy food for clients with disabilities, chronic diseases, mental health challenges, and the frailty of old age. This year alone, we have received 155 new referrals.
