Participate in John and Kristen's Village

We are asking friends, family and the community of John & Kristen to lend a hand during an extremely difficult time after the birth of their son, Tripp.

If you know them, you love them. If you don't know them, you would love them!

Both Kristen and John have devoted their time and energy in careers that are centered around helping others through their worst struggles in the field of addiction and mental health. As much help as they provide to others, the hopes are we can help them!

Kristen developed an abdominal infection from her c-section and was back in the hospital less than a week after giving birth. Kristen had a baseball size abscess in her liver that they had to drain. It turned into sepsis and had to receive transfusion. If anyone knows anything about this condition after a c-section it can be very fatal for a mother and at times has been touch and go through the procedures that are needed.

Kristen has been in the hospital for almost a month all while away from her newborn son and their 2 girls. John is carrying the weight of both parents while working and taking care of their 3 children. As a mother, to be away from any of your children, let alone a newborn is close to being as difficult as the medical issues that are occurring. Even once Kristen is feeling healthier to be home, with the complications from a regular C-section along with this added on fatal issue, it is going to be extremely difficult for her to care for all of her children in the amazing way she usually does.

Neither John or Kristen would ever reach out to ask for help like this but we know the struggle that will come with all the medical bills, costs of a growing family while down to one income, diapers, food, everyday expenses for the kids and everything in between. John has been rockstar attempting to be all of what the family needs right now, but this process is too much for any one person to do alone. Let's come together and take some of the weight off of their shoulders as they are already dealing with so much! It truly takes a village- let's show them some love!
