Partner with Martin on his Mission Trip

I grew up in Ottawa Ontario, I am going to Carleton University for Global and International Studies. I have also been volunteering at a youth group in downtown Ottawa for the past two years. I am taking the the next two years to spread the love of God at Damascus Catholic Mission Campus in Centerburg, Ohio.

Since 3rd grade, I have been to a variety of Catholic camps and retreats, and I truly believe that I am who I am today because of the love and joy that I received from God as a youth. He's also opened my eyes to the need for his love in our world. I’ve never witnessed so many young people who are so hungry for attention and affirmation as I’ve seen in the youth of today. They need to be shown what is true, good, and beautiful. They need to see the love of Jesus. Because of this, God has brought such joy and peace into my life with this opportunity to be a missionary.

This is why I choose to live my life in the way that I do: by giving my time to supporting this mission. I want people to know that they don’t have to be perfect to be loved, and that Jesus meets us where we are.
