Send Partnership OM Team to Worlds

We are so proud to announce that our team from Partnership Elementary School has qualified to attend the Odyssey of the Mind WORLD FINALS, which will be held over Memorial Day weekend at Michigan State University. Thousands of teams from throughout the US and 25 other countries participate in Odyssey of the Mind
It's very expensive, and that's why we're writing you today. There is no county or school funding available for our children, and we need to pay for airfare, lodging and transportation. We need to raise almost $10,000 in less than two months to enable our 7 children & their coaches attend the Worlds competition. We hope you'll help us reach our goal and allow our kids to showcase their talents!
Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving challenges for students from kindergarten through college. Our team built a structure out of balsa wood and glue that could only weigh as much as 3 pencils (18 grams) and had to be 8" tall. The structure was placed under a crusher board and the kids used barbell weights to see how much weight it could hold. At the state finals, their structure held 818 pounds! In addition to building a structure, our team created a skit, the props, costumes and scenery. They have worked on their skit and structure for the entire school year!
It is with a mixture of absolute delight and a little bit of shock that we're embarking on this World Finals journey, and we hope that you will be able to support our children in this adventure!
Thank you in advance for your interest and support! Here we go!!!
Donations are tax deductible, and we'll be sure to send you a receipt for tax purposes!
