Help The Party Band Shine in São Paulo

The Party Band is going to Brazil and we need your help! We are thrilled to report that our flights are booked and our bags are almost packed for our first international adventure. We'll be heading south of the equator for 10 days in November/December 2024 to play a brass band festival. HONK! SP takes place in São Paulo, Brazil and started in November 2017, bringing together a vast number of groups, including Brass Bands and Carnival "Blocos."This is our first international trip. We’ve been a band for 11 years, and this feels like an incredible celebration of our first decade together with big sights on the next. We are so excited to share our experiences from this trip with you all, and we hope you will share your support with us!

Traveling with 17 band members is not cheap. We spent most of our band fund purchasing flights and many of us will be taking unpaid time off of work for this trip. Any donation you can make will help support our band members so that they can enjoy their time on the trip and not worry about money. Donations will also go towards helping band members with bills while they're away.

We are The Party Band; an original brass band embodying homegrown, unadulterated, unplugged fun. Our mission is to bring people together, celebrate the gift of being alive, and make the world a better place through the joys of quality live music in a way that is accessible to everyone.

Originating in Lowell, MA, we have traveled the country blasting brass for fun, festivals, community events, schools, weddings, protests, and nightclub shows since our inception in 2013. The band has recorded three albums of original brass music inspired by the sounds of New Orleans and folk music from across Planet Earth. We believe it is important to be a force for good in the world, and to celebrate every day like the party that it is.

We would like to be able to pay each of the 17 band members traveling $500 each. The goal of $11,210 factors in 20% for taxes as well as the 2.9% and $0.30 transaction fees for GoFundMe. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
