Parvo Puppy “Peanut”

Hi, my name is Amanda Hightower. Buckle in! This is a long story! My husband and I went out to a nearby lake to go fishing on Wednesday evening. While looking for a spot to fish, a sweet little puppy came from seemingly out of nowhere. He was wagging his tail and so happy! I picked him up and noticed that he had many ticks. We looked for an owner but there was no one around. We took him home and gave him a bath and shortly after he began to decline and vomit many times. This morning (Thursday) we took him to the vet and discovered he has parvo. With limited options and feeling very uneasy about giving up on the poor guy (and being huge suckers), we have decided to treat him at home. As you can imagine, this is a bit costly. Our hope is that we can get him on the mend and find him a forever home that will love him as much as we already do!
