Empower Syrian Refugee Kids

Dear family and friends,
We are a student group attending the class called "Approaches to Conflict Management and Resolution: Field Work with Syrian Refugees in Jordan" by George Mason University's Center for World Religions, Diplomacy, and Conflict Resolution.
As being in Jordan at this moment, we would like to ask your support for our collaborative work for Project Amal ou Salam which dedicates to the empowerment of Syrian refugee children.
Experiencing more than 4 years of the Syrian conflict, life of the Syrian refugees are just deteriorating and especially children are so vulnerable both physically and mentally. Many refugee children have not been to school in nearly three years, and they often suffer from PTSD. A grassroots organization called Project Amal ou Salam, which runs educational psychosocial workshops for Syrian refugee kids ages 6 - 15 to help them deal with the trauma they have sustained and imagine a hopeful new vision for their country. Our class is partnering with them, through the activities of music, art, and sports to give the kids new outlets for creative expression and teach them about team building and trust. Project Amal ou Salam seeks to empower the children of Syria through these workshops, and most importantly, to give them a chance to just be kids again. This is why we want to support this program, and ask your support as well.
If you would like to contribute to this effort, I would really appreciate it! And please feel free to share this site with your love!
