Pascal's Spinathon November 2022

Donation protected
Veolia’s Municipal Managing Director, Pascal Hauret will be taking on a 6-hour spinning class challenge, cycling the equivalent distance of 4 Mont Ventouxs, on Saturday 5 November 2022.

The challenge will raise money to provide refurbished bicycles for our frontline colleagues so that they can travel to work using a fully funded carbon-free mode of transport, all while staying fit and contributing to Veolia’s wider purpose of ecological transformation.

ICYCLE6 is a 6 hour indoor high-intensity spin challenge, and I will be joining a large group of participants all raising money for charity.

Each bike costs £200 and includes a helmet and bike lock.
Furthermore, the bikes will be provided by Westminster Wheels, a local community bike shop working with local young people who aren’t in education, employment or training and supporting and training them to become qualified mechanics. They refurbish unwanted bikes, giving them a new lease of life to be sold in the shop or donated back into the community. https://www.westminsterwheels.co.uk/

Veolia works closely with projects such as Westminster Wheels to develop our contribution and support to local community initiatives and projects.
