Pass, Play, Empower: Bringing netball to deprived areas.

Hi my name is Mayah, please support me as I attempt to run, row and hike the distance (9,678km) to Cape Town in support of vulnerable children. I have been playing netball since the age of 7. Netball is not just a sport, it’s about changing lives. Having grown up with the privilege of access to excellent sporting facilities and coaching, I know how powerful a game like netball can be, not just for physical fitness, but for building confidence, leadership and teamwork.
In July 2026, I have the chance to travel to one of Cape Town’s poorest township with my school. Here, young people have limited access to sporting opportunities. I want to share my experiences with them.
With your help I can transform lives through netball. Ahead of my trip, I am going to be running and rowing the 9,678km distance from Heathrow to Cape Town, stay tuned on my page for updates.
The money I am raising will go toward the coaching, equipment and experience needed to bring netball to these children.
