Passaic County Mutual Aid: Helping Against Covid19

Individuals and families in Passaic County are still facing difficult times with schooling, quarantines, unpaid sick leave, potential medical bills, paying rent or mortgages and buying food or other supplies.
If you know of someone who may need a delivery of some food or other items, please use this form and we will get someone to drop off a package at their door for them. If you want to volunteer your own time to buy items and deliver them, or to do outreach in your town, please let me know.
If you know of anyone who needs other kinds of help due to COVID-19, please also feel free to let me know.
I am with The Green Party of Passaic County and am running for Hawthorne Town Council trying to help support our local communities during this ongoing pandemic. In a country without universal single-payer healthcare or a strong social safety net, a strong community is more important than ever.
Beyond coordinating this effort, I am asking for financial assistance now so I can reach more of our neighbors and help in more ways. I still have my full-time job but will be using whatever resources I can find to help pay for items if the recipient can't afford them, so that no one has to go without what is essential. I want help prevent any of us from becoming homeless over this crisis.
This is NOT a donation to the political campaign or organization. This goes directly through me to someone in need.
