Passing of Amanda LaVallee

It is with love and humility that I wish to let everyone know of Amanda LaVallee's passing.
On the morning of Thursday, September 22 she passed away peacefully in her sleep.
I'm no Amanda when it comes to writing beautiful words. My heart hurts too much to think of the perfect thing to say. Our sweet and beautiful Amanda went to be with her Mother, Nanny and countless family members at the young age of 32. Like most young women, she did not anticipate her journey ending so soon. She did not have life insurance and the burden of her final expenses fall to her family. This GoFundMe will go to her brother Christopher, who has been working tirelessly to lay her to rest.
To know Amanda was to love her. She had a strong sense of family and a drive to make others feel special. She overcame obstacles that would have been insurmountable to most of us. I am proud of the woman she became. I am proud of the mother she chose to be. I cannot believe she will not be here to watch us all grow up. We all deserved more. She deserved more.
On a personal note, Amanda came into my life 22 years ago. We were sisters by choice, my oldest and best friend. She helped to make me the woman and mother I am today. I owe her more than these words can ever say.
Thank You,
