Passing of Daniel Assefa

Dear friends and family and our community at large – It is with a heavy heart and utter sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Daniel Assefa (the husband of out late sister, Tigist Zemene Yimer). He passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022.

Daniel was a loving single father of three kids, son Nathan and Alexander, and daughter, Bitania. They do not have the funds to cover the cost of giving their beloved father the proper burial. They wish for his final resting place to be next to his late wife, Tigist, in Maryland.

Therefore, we are asking you to please give what you can to help ease the financial burden the family is facing at this moment. No amount is too small, as every dollar will help us reach our goal of raising $30,000 to help give Daniel the memorial he deserves, and to allow our community to say our last goodbyes.
