Passing of my dear father.

My eyes shed tears and My heart feels pain but I only utter words that are pleasing to our Lord. It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this. On January 2nd 2020 as everyone was bringing in the new year with their friends and family, I unfortunately, went into the new year with heavy heart and broken dreams as someone I loved very dearly has left me so suddenly. A day after after new year’s my father Glen Dowd had a heart attack and passed away at the age of 57, this came as a sudden to me and I was not prepared to plan a funeral on my own. I am asking for help to pay the funeral fee’s such as church rental, stone engravent , urn and so on. I have asked help from the City of Ottawa who will only pay for the cremation and burial. My father was a man with a pure heart who would give the clothes off his back and the food in his fridge and always opened his home to friends who had no where to stay even if he was struggling himself. He loved his community and grew up in Cumberland. He desserve’s to have a funeral. I am now asking this community for help. All donations are gratefully appreciated, thank you for your condolences.
