Passing of Noah James Hussain

Dear friends, family, and Huron community members,

Madison “Maddy” Balde and Imran Hussain are grieving the loss of their son, Noah James Hussain, who was born silently into this world on January 10th, 2024 and they could use our help.

If you’re from Huron, Ohio, chances are you’ve heard of Huron Native, Maddy Balde. The Huron community was always there to cheer on and support Maddy as she grew up suffering from kidney disease and was waiting for her match for a kidney transplant. When Maddy received her transplant in 2016, friends, family, and the Huron community were right there beside her. Now, Maddy and her husband, Imran, are in need of Huron’s community support again.

Since August of 2022, Maddy and Imran have been living in Phoenix, Arizona, where Imran is in a medical residency program. The couple was married in Arizona in April 2023 in an intimate ceremony witnessed by family members. When Maddy became pregnant, she and Imran were thrilled and couldn’t wait to become parents. Unfortunately, complications led to the passing of Noah. Now, Maddy and Imran are returning home to Huron, Ohio to lay Noah to rest.

Maddy and Imran, are devastated by Noah’s passing and could not have been mentally, emotionally, or financially prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. Unfortunately, a tragic event does not stop the requirement to pay for daily expenses. Due to the compilation of high funeral costs along with basic daily expenses and other fees that will be associated with this immense loss, we thought a GoFundMe would be an appropriate way to come together to support Maddy and Imran during this indescribable time. Maddy and Imran deserve to have the time and space to process, grieve, and remember their son, Noah, without having to worry about finances.

We set the fundraising goal at $5,000 with the intent that ~$3,000 will go to funeral costs and the remaining ~$2,000 will go to basic daily expenses such as costs for housing, food, transportation, healthcare, and other miscellaneous costs that may have been accrued while Maddy and Imran have missed work.
