Pastor Brian's Homecoming

On behalf of Apostle Brian Lampton's family, Power of the Spirit Fellowship Cairns and Nintiringanyi Cultural Training Centre, we would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love and support you have shown us in these past couple of weeks.

Apostle Brian's ministry portfolio has spanned more than 40 years in Australia and abroad. A Juru First Nation's man and South Sea Island statesman, Apostle Brian transferred his family 20 years ago to Cairns and he dearly loved his home here. He is a respected elder who has influenced many Indigenous communities locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, reaching to the Torres Strait, the highlands of Papua New Guinea and across the world.

The CEO & Chairperson of Nintiringanyi Cultural Training Centre Cairns, Pastor Lampton reached out to the local community through various efforts, including CIYEP (Cairns Indigenous Youth Empowerment Program), forming and assisting with Cleveland Youth Detention Centre Elders Group (in crime prevention), Miriki Performing Arts (inspiring primary and high school students to further their education to change their world and community through the performing arts) and the program Nite Vision that inspires youth to sing, dance and create/perform music.

Pastor Lampton joined the Board of World Vision Australia in 2002 with special responsibilities for People Culture & Learning Committee and the Audit Committee. He also had a close association with the Haggai Institute.

As we are appreciative of the support we are receiving from the community to ensure a beautiful celebration for Pastor Brian's Homecoming, we have established this campaign for those who would like to contribute.
