Pastor Craig Sturm Renovation & Medical Bills
Donation protected
Rev. Craig Sturm, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sherman, Texas, was involved in a head-on collision by a motorist passing in a no-passing zone on September 5, 2023. He has been the beloved pastor of Trinity Lutheran for 21 years, and has been active in the community as well.
After undergoing surgery, he went into cardiac arrest and then suffered a stroke. As a result of the stroke, he has no movement on his left side.
On December 1st, after 90 days in the hospital (54 days in ICU and 36 in long-term care), he was transferred to a Neurological Rehabilitation facility in the Dallas area. He is undergoing inpatient, intensive therapy.
Pastor Craig will be returning home at some point in the near future. But he will most likely still be in a wheelchair. To allow him access to his home (through doorways, into his bathroom, etc) a renovation is required.
Thankfully, much of the labor is being donated, which will really help keep costs down. But funds are needed to help Pastor Craig return home and resume his life. We are asking for donations to help make this possible. No amount is too small.
Pastor Craig is a man who has dedicated his life to giving to others. He has been selfless in his dedication to following God's direction. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to help him regain his life. We are so very grateful for your prayers and financial donations.
