Pastor Dale Roberts - Help Needed

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Becky Garnett; there is a Need for Pastor Dale Roberts!

On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, Pastor Larry Dale Roberts was in a terrible accident at his residents. As he exited his vehicle, the truck began rolling backward and ran over the top of him. The vehicle continued to roll, dragging him underneath until it rested in the woods. It was a couple hours later that his little son Jacob saw the vehicle and began yelling dada! Joy went to see what Jacob was yelling about when she saw the truck. Joy ran down the hill only to find Pastor Dale pinned under the truck with the front wheel on his leg. He was coherent but poorly injured. After much work and preparation, the truck was lifted, and Pastor Dale was rushed to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri where he is today and will be for some time.
At midnight the Doctor met with Joy with a long list of injuries. He is in critical but stable condition. He has 3 broken bones in his left leg, two broken bones in his right leg, a broken ankle, a punctured lung, a fractured pelvic in two places on each side, a slipped Disk, a slit in his liver and battling kidney failure. The Pastor was put on a ventilator to help him breathe and recently on dialysis to help save his life from kidney failure. They keep him sedated to help with the pain; when the pain is too much, they increase his meds temporarily, then his blood pressure would fall, and they would have to reverse it. He is fighting hard to live.

Many of you know Pastor Dale from his employment at Moberly Parks and Rec, and most of you know him from the churches he has pastored and currently pastors at Laddonia Christian Church. In March 2020, the Covid pandemic opened a big door for Pastor Dale through Facebook. He Preaches on Sunday from the pulpit and over the airways of Facebook. He rarely misses a day to stop whatever he is doing, wherever he is, at 10 a.m. to read an encouraging scripture to get you through the day. One of his favorites – The Book of Psalms! You may see him reading from his library, or the passenger seat of his car, on his lawn mower, in a hat and coat, or in a suit or even wrapped in a blanket, he does not fail his sheep!!!! As he would read this scripture, I am sure you can see his smile and jig of joy -

Psalms 18:1-3
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The lord is my rock and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust, my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so, shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Please help this family as you can either by donating through Go Fund Me or even sending a donation directly to Joy at 1745 Co. Rd. 2270, Moberly, MO. 65270. The need is real, and the healing will be lengthy as they face several surgeries and obstacles, including gas prices as Joy drives back and forth. Please Pray for Pastor’s full recovery just as he prayed for us daily to be blessed and to “have a good day”!
