PASTOR LUIS’ TRIBUTE
“I fought the lion. I fought the bear. Now I am looking for the head of the Philistine.” Pastor often quoted over the pulpit in reference to surviving sickness and spiritual warfare.
Pastor Luis Molina, Jr. and is wife, Debbie, moved to San Antonio, Texas from San Jose, California in October 1997 to start Victory Outreach San Antonio. Together, they were determined to win the city of San Antonio for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ. Through this determination they brought restoration to 1000's of broken families.
Under Pastor Luis' leadership, Victory Outreach opened free men's and women's recovery homes to help those who were battling drugs, alcoholism, prostitution. Through the Twilight Treasures Ministry and Code Red events, Victory Outreach San Antonio joined hands with other allies across the city in the fight against prostitution and trafficking. In the past 7 years, Code Red and the Twilight Treasures Christmas Rally, alone, served 100's of women each year who were trafficked or in recovery of the lifestyle.
Throughout Pastor’s illness and suffering, he never stopped preaching, loving, serving, or giving of himself. His determination and warrior spirit never gave up his fight to keep Victory Outreach San Antonio going forward. Even when going on sabbatical in his last days. Pastor Luis would watch the church service livestream, while prayerfully interceding from his home.
Pastor Luis touched every life he came across. He always had room in his heart for the down and out. Everyone who met Pastor Luis was inspired and touched personally because of his love for people. Most importantly, he brought the value of family to Victory Outreach San Antonio.
On Monday January 10, he was called home to be with the Lord. We appreciate any monetary gifts towards the memorial of Pastor Luis. In doing so, know that you are helping Pastor Luis’s legacy live on in San Antonio, Texas. The city that he called home.
