Pastor Ray Ramage needs your help. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma a couple months ago with a positive prognosis and no treatment recommended. Unfortunately his cancer has spread and now requires immediate medical attention. Pastor Ray will be admitted into the hospital to undergo tests and treatments that we all hope will stop the spread and shrink the tumors. Ray is 86 years old and has been suffering physically and mentally since his unilateral separation from Horizon Church in Rancho Santa Fe, culminating in his current state of health (or lack thereof).
Ray and Phyllis survive on only social security and medicare. They are surely going to incur expenses that aren't covered and cannot be paid.
Ray has touched many people's hearts and lives. From the kids who loved him at Horizon Prep to the families that relied on his presence and counseling at Horizon church. Many couples benefitted from Ray's no nonsense marriage counseling. Many were healed from their own ailments, including cancer after Ray prayed over them.
To the motocross world, Ray ministered to many. Ray was the presiding pastor of Marty Moates funeral. Marty and Ray were very close. Ray was the presiding pastor of Marty Smith's father, Al's funeral and married Marty Smith's daughter Brooke. Ray counseled David Bailey in some of his darkest days and was a positive influence in Ricky Johnson's life.
After dedicating much of his life to serving the needs of many others, Ray now needs
help. Those who know him, know a selfless man, who never put his own needs in front others, friends, acquittances and family.
Please pray and ask the Lord how He would want lead you to contribute to Ray's needs.
