Fund "Password," Our Local Comedy Music Video

My name is Katlin Schneider and I'm fundraising, along with the generous fiscal sponsorship of Bughouse Theater, for the music video "Password." This video will tell a tale of nostalgic romance through the musical talents and original song of Chicago comedian, Ron Hexagon.

When I first heard the song "Password" by Ron Hexagon, he premiered it at a Bughouse show and it struck me as being a tidbit of comedy that was quirky and fun in a way I don't often get to experience. I was immediately moved to approach Ron and we fell into the partnership of creating this music video.

Both Ron and myself are 1980s pop culture nerds and we felt the song's tone nods to that in a big way. The music video pays heavy homage to multiple 80's films, which requires a fun amount of costuming. In addition to props and costumes, this fundraiser will support the time, skills, and work of our camera team and the Bughouse Theater itself for providing its space to shoot.
