Pat and Allen Carr

Donation protected
Imagine not being able to leave your home, period. Help us raise money for
a wheelchair assessable van so Pat, who has Polio and Multiple Sclerosis, can leave her home to do simple things like attend church, go to the store and doctor, and participate in activities outside of her home.

Allen, a survivor of prostate cancer, a stroke, shoulder surgery and recently back surgery, can no longer lift Pat into her wheelchair carrier in their car. Pat is also unable to lift herself out of the wheelchair into the car because the Polio and MS caused her to lose the ability to walk and move her body from the waist down.

For decades Pat and Allen have served others in love and humility, helped those in need, and honored God through kindness and generosity. Now it’s our turn to help them in their time of need. ❤️

John 15:12 - This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

MORE ABOUT PAT AND ALLEN
A second generation native of Dickson, most of the time you can find Allen helping others in need - mowing lawns, building decks, running errands, driving others to appointments, and on and on and on. Pat’s sweet but sassy personality brightens the day when she regularly calls or texts to check on you - she always has a way of knowing when others need encouragement.

Pat served as a Sunday school teacher and is on the Mothers board at church while Allen serves as a deacon and mowed the church lawn for years.

Pat and Allen have three grown children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Often you can find family and friends gathered on their back deck visiting and enjoying fellowship. They have always opened their home to others and often provided a loving place for those that needed it, raising their three grandchildren after their daughter passed away.

When Pat managed a store in Nashville she opened it up early in the morning and allowed the homeless mothers in the neighborhood to bathe and get their children ready to go to school that day. Faith in action at its finest.

God promises to reward people for their faithful service, especially those who are generous to the poor and marginalized. Let us be the vessel that God works through to serve this amazing couple.
