Pat Crea Funeral and Medical Fund

Hi my name is Paul, until recently I lived with both my parents. I'm 37 and suffer from severe mental illness and a physical disability. My parents have looked after me my whole life. But unfortunately after a long battle with dementia, type 2 diabetes and multiple organ failures, my Dad passed away on 8th November 2024. Not only did we lose Dad but I suffered a major psychological breakdown leading to a short stay in the Frankston Psych ward.

Mum lost her husband of 50 years which on its own would be extremely difficult to deal with but as well as trying to cope with that, she also supported me through my nervous break down. Earlier in the year we also lost a pet and and the engine in Mum's car self destructed and we couldn't afford to repair it, so I gave her my car.

When we lost Dad we also lost his pension and the carers payment Mum received. This has put us in a severely tough position.

With many backdated medical payments, funeral costs, rent and general expenses we are currently really struggling.

If anyone could help us in any way, big or small we would greatly appreciate it. If you are unable to help financially please share this with anyone you can as we really need some assistance.

All funds raised with be transferred to my Mum Julie or go directly to paying bills.
