Pat Mayfield Medical Support

Hello everyone. Pat Mayfield is reaching out for help with medical bills due to an injury and subsequent surgery to his foot. While attending and working at the Burning Man festival, feeling freshly invigorated by the exuberant atmosphere and tight community of old friends, Pat sustained a fracture of his right heel jumping down from an art car, and in one brief moment discovered how absolutely vulnerable our bodies really are.

A physically active and hard-working individual, Pat generally wears two hats for work, one of a carpenter and one of a farmer. His normal day involves building houses to pay the bills when not tending the farm animals at home on the farm. Unfortunately, with a plate and many screws in his foot, he has been unable to walk on two feet for the past three months and has therefore been unable to bring in any income. Asking for help can be a very hard thing to do, but staying on top of the usual bills has become increasingly precarious and the medical bills stacking on top are enough to warrant asking the community for a helping hand.

Donations will go to paying medical bills and assisting in cost of living while Pat gets back on his feet, and back to work! Contributions of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
