Path to Safety: Assisting a Gazan Family
Donation protected
Please help my sister as she attempts to flee a dire situation in Gaza with her and her family. My name is Muhammad and my loving sister is a mother to 5 children fending for their lives each day. With your help, they will have a chance to stay alive. We need to raise funds on their behalf to assist with their daily needs right now and evacuate them from Gaza this January. Please donate as even a small amount helps. Thank you for your kind heart and generosity.
I'm currently based in Fethiye, Turkey. With help from my Nephew Motasem who lives in Utah, USA. I am raising funds for my sister's family and my parents (Motasem's aunt and grandparents—Names below). Once evacuated, they will join me in my home.
We've been witness to the heartbreaking reality of an unfolding genocide in Gaza over the past three months. I have been following the journey of my beloved nieces and nephews—a family torn apart by the ravages of war in Gaza. These children—brimming with potential, dreams, and resilience—now find themselves face to face with a war machine, grappling with unimaginable loss, and struggling daily to survive and obtain the most basic necessities.
Their home now lies in ruins. Stripped of everything they owned, they wear the same clothes day in and day out, seeking refuge in a makeshift tent that only barely shields them from the cold weather.
The Urgency:
Their suffering weighs heavily on my heart. My family endures each day with uncertainty and fear. They yearn for safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild their shattered lives.
Our Mission:
I'm leading a campaign to ensure the safe evacuation of my orphaned nieces and nephews with their mother and grandparents from brutal violence. The funds raised will be instrumental in facilitating their safe passage from Gaza through the Rafah crossing to Egypt.
Your Impact:
Your support, regardless of the amount, will directly support the cost of these childrens’ safe passage out of Gaza.
Please support in any way you can. Share their story, spread the word, and stand by these children and their grandparents who deserve a future unmarred by war. Your contributions—whether through donations or raising awareness—will be invaluable in supporting their safe passage out of Gaza.
Thank you for your support.
How the funds will be spent:
- Permits and Crossing Fees $63,000
- Travel expenses from Gaza to Egypt, one month rent and other necessities. $3,300
- Immediate assistant for the family in Gaza: $1,800
- Plane tickets to turkey $4,500
- GoFundMe fees: $2,,105

Fayqa and Saed Abualqumboz (Grandparents - My parents)
Resilient grandparents in their eighties, who have endured hardships throughout their lives. Having weathered the turmoil of World War II, they thought they had seen the worst of what life could offer. Yet, the current conflict has once again tested their resilience. Despite their decades-long struggle, they find themselves unable to live comfortably amidst the chaos of the present war. Their age and the memories of past hardships make their current situation even more challenging, as they long for safety and stability in their twilight years.
Your compassion and generosity mean the world to us, standing strong together in solidarity. With your support, we can truly make a difference, providing the urgent safety and security my family desperately seeks. Thank you for being a beacon of hope in our journey.
With heartfelt appreciation and thanks.
