UPDATE-Patrice Joseph Medical Expenses

UPDATE: Patrice Black Joseph is a dear friend to many, especially to me. A recent update for the fundraiser is that Patrice has now been diagnosed with complications with her kidneys and ministrokes that require expensive treatment from specialists. Thus far, the fundraiser has reached $600.

Thanks to all of you who have given so generously. If you haven't been able to donate yet, please know anything will help. Even if you don't know Patrice, I know for a fact she will pay it forward times 10.

Every day, Patrice faces high blood pressure of 220/150, crashing headaches that would send most to bed and low blood sugar that could send into a coma. Patrice has been in the hospital most recently in October and several times this year due to comas. Because of these medical issues, Patrice has been unable to work for the past year and a half.

Patrice is from Shreveport Louisiana and graduated from Caddo Magnet High school in 1985. We met at Target and started chatting. We made the Shreveport and Caddo Magnet connection pretty quickly. And that was that. We have been good friends ever since.

Patrice has two wonderful sons and grandchildren. She loves to cook. Her food will fill you heart and would with job. Patrice has a very big heart and spreads kindness wherever she goes. Her faith keeps her strong no matter the circumstances she is facing. Her smile will lift you up on a tough day.

Patrice is very self-sufficient and does not often ask for help. That is why I am asking for your help on her behalf. I will send the funds directly to Patrice for her medical expenses.
