Patricia Ann Barrett

All funds from this fundraiser will go to a trust for the grandchildren of Patricia Ann Barrett.

Patricia "Patty" Ann Barrett (nee Budge), born on November 6, 1949, peacefully passed away on July 8, 2023. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Patty, a native of Brooklyn and raised in Manhattan's Inwood section, embraced her role as a nurturing figure not just to her family but to anyone in need. She found solace in nature, tending to her beloved garden and connecting with the earth. Music was her passion, from classic rock to heavy metal, and she found joy in its melodies. Patty was also a pipe carrier for the Native American Bear Tribe, embracing the spiritual teachings and wisdom of the traditions.

Patty's memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Archibald Budge, husband, Robert Broderick, and son, Keith Serino. She is survived by her mother, Ellen (nee Heaphy) Budge, and siblings, Arthur (Diane), Peggy, and Billy (Irene). Her children, Christopher (Amy), Heather Valentin (Michael), and Stephanie Broderick, as well as her grandchildren, Christopher, Jake, Keith, Arthur, Addison, Autumn and Kalynn, will carry her love and spirit forward.

Patty will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who knew her. Her kind and compassionate spirit will continue to inspire and resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
