Patricia Hardy Memorial Fund

When we woke up Easter morning, April 12th, 2020 we did not know that today our hearts would be forever broken, scarred by the sudden loss of our beloved Patricia Hardy. Pat was diagnosed with COVID-19 just days ago. She was sick, and “felt like she had been hit by a truck,” but in true Pat Hardy fashion, she was stoically handling the diagnosis and we all expected her to get through this. But this disease is especially deceptive and cruel, and in just a matter of days from the onset of her symptoms, Pat was unjustly and prematurely ripped from our lives forever. We are in shock at the loss of our colleague, mentor and above all, cherished and treasured friend.
 
We may never truly know the number of lives Pat has changed for the better. She made us smile and she made us feel loved and she took care of so many of us as we journey through this life. To know her was to have her imprinted on your heart forever. She was selfless and dedicated to her work and to her family and neither will ever be the same. We will miss hearing her voice and we will miss seeing her face and we will most of all miss knowing she is only a phone call away.  We will have to go on now, knowing she is forever watching over us from a better place.
 
Pat is survived by her husband, Michael and son, Matthew. This page is set up to help them with the medical and final expenses and all funds raised will go directly to the family.
