Hello friends, my name is Justice Jenkins. This morning I laid my mother to rest which no one is ever ready for….I’m asking for some support as I try to honor my mother’s amazing time on this earth with friends and family. Anything helps and I’m so thankful for any type of support.

Patricia Anne Hungerford was born April 29th 1956 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On June 4th 2023, her work was completed on Earth and Heaven welcomed her with open arms. Patricia was a class of 1974 graduate at Bassick Highschool in Connecticut. She attended The University of Bridgeport and Western CT State University. Later in life earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education after relocating to Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2001.

All her life she found her shine through music. Patricia performed all over the world in multiple bands with her soulful and angelic voice. She continued her shine working and caring for severely disabled children at Corporate Landing Middle School in Virginia Beach after receiving her degree. Patricia was known as selfless, compassionate, and loving to all. While she will be deeply missed by friends, associates, and family alike. Her light will never dim.

She is predeceased by her father, Edward Hungerford Sr., her mother, Ann Oakley, Sisters Elaine, Shirley, & Susan, her Brothers Robert & Roger, as well as her loving partner of 19 years, Robert Jenkins.

She leaves her son Justice Jenkins (Virginia Beach, VA) and brother Edward Hungerford (Connecticut) along with any future kin.
