Patricia P. Pineda Memorial Scholarship

When a person dies, the mark the individual left on the world represents that individual's legacy. ... It is about the richness of the individual's life, including what that person accomplished and the impact he or she had on people and places. Ultimately, the story of a person's life reflects the individual's legacy.
Patricia P. Pineda touched the lives of countless people. There are students that she taught private voice lessons, the students that were a part of the Pineda Conservatory for the past 25 years, all the alumni, parents and families, the Parish Community of First United Methodist Church in Scotch Plains that she served as their Music Minister, to the countless other lives in all of her communities that she has touched...her legacy is far reaching.
We could think of no better way to honor her legacy than to have an annual memorial scholarship in her name. The Patricia P. Pineda Memorial Scholarship Foundation will honor a senior high school student, 1 each from Cranford HS, Westfield HS and Scotch Plains Fanwood HS, that will pursue higher education in Music or Theatre Arts.
