Patricia " Pattie" Peterson

I am trying to raise funds for my sister Pattie's husband and family, as she recently unexpectedly passed away. Pattie or Mammaw as she was known to all children she came in contact with was a very loving and caring soul. When she was around, you were sure to have a smile on your face. She was great with children and they enjoyed learning from her. We always said she should have been a teacher. It made her happiest when she was with her grandchildren. She went out of her way to help anyone she could within her means. She worked a full time job and since her husbands retirement was the main income in the household.

Her husband Donald receives Social Security which is just $200 more than their rent. He also has electric, water, gas, insurance and cell phone bills to pay. This doesn't include toiletries or food. He has become a single grandfather raising their granddaughter during this tragedy. He has enough to deal with so I've decided to start this gofundme page to assist with cremation, memorial and any bills he may incurre until he is able to become financially stable.

He just lost his wife of over 40 yrs and was in no way prepared for the financial stress her passing has brought upon him. He needs to relax and grieve but at the moment he can do nothing but worry.

Any money he receives will be deposited directly to his bank account from this fundraiser as he is the sole beneficiary
