Patricia Quiroz Medical Assistance

Patricia Quiroz was born 9th youngest of 10 children, to humble parents Hilario and Guadalupe Quiroz. When she was 16 years old she had an almost fatal car crash. She suffered a severe neck injury and was in a coma for months. Her family could not afford surgery. Patricia persevered nonetheless. As she grew older, the pain increased as the range of motion and posture decreased. Yet she persevered. Now, at age 72, the pain and dropping of her head became so much it was debilitating. She was warned by her doctors she MUST get surgery or she will become paralyzed. With a lot of worry about her life, her future and her bills, she underwent surgery and rehabilitation. Her rehab stay is coming to an end but her home based physical therapy and recovery has just begun. This will continue from home for another 3 or more months, under doctors orders to limit her movement. During that time, she can barely provide for herself and she cannot work.

 

Having worked all of her life, Patricia gets social security but its much less than her bills. She has a $500 deficit each month. Before surgery, the various odd jobs she would take could cover it. Now she will be unable to take any odd job for several months. We are asking for your help to cover that deficit each month to give her a chance to focus on her recovery at home and not worry about her bills. Will you please help her?
