Name a Guide Dog Puppy in Honor of Patricia

Patricia was an avid animal lover and passed that love onto her children. One of her daughters raises puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Patricia adored each puppy with a purpose.

Growing up in England, she enjoyed sharing stories about Rupert Bear, a British children's story. She brought these traditions to America with her and named her stuffed bear "Rupert". When she passed peacefully on February 21, 2023, Rupert was in her arms.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to honor her memory by naming a puppy "Rupert" which her daughter will raise and train to become a guide dog for someone with visual impairments.
