Patrick Calloway's Cancer Battle

Patrick is facing another assault from cancer–his third in four years.

It first struck in December 2017 when he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. His right kidney was immediately removed. Unfortunately in 2019 the cancer was back and Patrick was forced to have a portion of a lung removed. Now, yet again, in 2021 the cancer is back; attacking his lymph nodes and eliminating surgery as an option. Instead Patrick is in treatment with high dose radiation.

Sadly, it is now clear that Patrick will be fighting cancer for the rest of his life–removing or radiating tumors as they appear. He will continue to wage that fight as the quiet warrior he is. But for Patrick, his greatest worry is for the financial security of his family. His cancer has taken not only a heavy toll on his health but on his ability to provide for those he loves and who depend upon him.
