Patrick THOMPSON Obituary

THOMPSON - Patrick D. Of Clarence NY, died suddenly on January 20th of 2024.

Patrick worked at Summitomo Rubber USA, formerly known as Dunlop, for 13 years and was a member of the

United Steelworkers Local 135. One of Patrick's biggest passions was for his own brethren at work. He wanted to make sure every brother and sister that came in went home the way they came in. Patrick was also an active member of fire department and the Emergency Response Team at Sumitomo Rubber 13 years.

It truly is with great sadness that I have to say goodbye to such a beautiful man with such a strong spirit and a brilliant bright brain full of so much interesting information.

All funds will to be used for obtaining and bringing Patrick home from the county morgue. So that he may be laid to peace in the streams and rivers that he used to love to fish. At this point I can't even afford a service based off just the shock of not being prepared for an unexpected death and cremation and the other medical services required.

His wishes were to be cremated and then to be released into the streams several places where he loved to fish. The first and closest one is one roof he's in the picture at the Scooby dam and this is where I will have a gathering to remember him.

In lieu of memorial service I would like to gather some fellow brother and sisters together in the spring to be announced to celebrate Patrick's life by going fishing It was one of his favorite passions and he was quite the master angler. In Springville I'd like to meet at scoby Hill and throw a few lines in for him on. The day will be Saturday 4/20/24 @ 12 noon
