Patrick David

Hi I’m Jackie Secor and my Nephew Patrick David my Brother Timothy David’s son who is just 17 years old, was in a car/Semi truck accident on 8-31-21. 

      He was airlifted to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City MI.  Upon arrival they discovered internal bleeding he went immediately into surgery and they removed his spleen,  he was put back into a room in critical care condition. He was sent down for a Cat-scan (full body) and head because of the severe head trauma and discovered he had swelling on the right side, and multiple  broken bones so he was sent back to surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain and then sent back to critical care.

      The next 24 hours are critical minute by minute that will be tonight around 9-10pm. When the Doctor came out to talk to us and explain what was going on at that time he said that at this point we have done everything we could do  and it is up to God now he is in gods hands and said if we have faith we should start praying now. 

     He survived through the night praise God!!. The next morning they decided they were going to send him to DeVos  Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids by airplane.

       He is still in critical care at this point! They are doing an MRI right now,  the Doctors have decided that they are going to be aggressive with treatment because his eyes have dilated and he has had movement by touch.  A little bit they discovered he has a broken hip and now there will be several Doctors, Orthopedic surgeons Neurosurgeons etc. getting together to come up with a care plan.  

      He is still in very critical condition it is still minute to minute the family needs love support and prayer.  My brother Timothy is self-employed and the sole provider for his family and he Is not currently working obviously due to the situation. They will be in need of financial help. 

     Patrick is a sweet boy and was entering his senior year of school. He had just gotten his very first job and is excited about his future he’s a great kid the youngest of 4 siblings two loving sisters Krystal and Noelle and a big Brother Tim and he has several nieces and nephews. We are a big loving Christian family with a lot of faith, and we are all praying for a miracle for our Patrick! PLEASE join us in praying for him. Any help that is given will be greatly appreciated!
