Patrick & Elle Kopala Fire Displacement Fund

On Friday, July 28, 2023 my best friend Patrick and his beautiful wife Elle Kopala lost everything in a fire. The fire started on the 4th floor of their building at 11:30pm, caused by electrical wiring, and spread throughout all apartments in their building. They lived on the 2nd floor and were evacuated. They were told it was a small fire and that they can get back into their apartment in the morning. What they came back to was unimaginable. The fire had spread to the entire 3rd and 4th floors. It took the fire department 9 hours to extinguish the fire, and due to the amount of water and structural damage, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors collapsed onto 1st floor. Everything they worked their entire lives to build was lost in the fire. Their wedding photos, Elle’s wedding ring, birthday and wedding gifts, clothes, family heirlooms, furniture etc. was damaged and lost in the fire.

They are so devastated and having a rough time trying to rebuild their lives, with just the clothes on their back. Elle feels like she lost a part of herself.

Patrick and Elle are giving people. Patrick does service work sponsoring people in AA and are always helping friends and family.

I am asking anyone who has the financial means to donate to Patrick and Elle so they can try and rebuild their lives. While it will never be the same, they need help with furniture, clothes, household items, toiletries etc.
