Patrick Fraser

It is with a heavy heart and sadness on the announcement regarding the sudden passing of Patrick Fraser on March 18th, 2023, Vancouver Island B.C. The ripples not only affected those in the heritage conservation community and family but also all who knew Patrick’s jovial gentle personality, golf swings, and fatherly advice on life.

Patrick’s heritage conservation work spanned both national and international locations. Notable projects included working on the Rideau Chapel, Notre Dame, Parliament buildings and the Canadian Museum of Nature. Patrick is survived by his son Antoine and daughter Jeanne and grandchildren

The Fraser family is currently overwhelmed with the logistics associated with funeral planning and travelling arrangements. Patrick had touched the lives of so many and it’s our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help during these difficult times. We want to give Patrick “Pat” Fraser the memorial he deserves, to honour his memory and say our last goodbyes. The goal is to raise up to $10,000
