Patrick Higgins Funeral Arrangements

Hi, my name is SSG Kristina Dunaway and I am starting this fundraiser for CPL Patrick Higgins’s family. Patrick was killed tragically in a motorcycle accident in Birmingham, AL Monday night at the young age of 24. I’m starting this fundraiser to help pay for funeral costs for his family. No Mother, Father, or Grandparent should have to bury a child. Patrick worked with me at the AMSA shop for 2 years before I left but I had known him since 2017. He deployed with my husband in 2018 to Djibouti, Africa. Patrick was a veteran and an outstanding soldier. He would go out of his way for anyone and literally give you the shirt off his back. CPL Higgins was our Solider but more importantly he was our family. He was a little brother to myself and my husband SSG Arthur Dunaway. To say that our hearts are completely broken is an understatement. Patrick’s untimely leaving of this Earth has left the world a much dimmer place. His smile, infectious laughter and overall positive and goofy personality will be so very deeply missed.
