Patrick Rolink

7th August 2023: GoFundMe info and update by Graham Mackie. I created this fundraiser in July for my friend and fellow comedian Patrick Rolink who had suffered two strokes in a week. It was inspired by our other friend Raymond Mearns, who sadly nowhas also suffered from a stroke. On the 27th July GoFundMe said they would transfer the then 'available' sum of £7,897.31. This took several days to arrive but when it did it was promptly sent to the Rolink bank account on the same day. Since that time GoFundMe has 'paused' transfers pending verification/additional details. This is despite me raising 'tickets' and verifying my own identity and details already.Hopefully this update will be seen by the 'ticketing' people and resolve this in order for Patrick's family to assist him by receiving the. remainder of the funds raised.

Hi there, our names are Graham Mackie and Raymond Mearns. Our comedy chum Patrick Rolink is unwell in hospital having suffered two strokes.

Patrick is self-employed and is unable to work. This has come as a shock to us all. The comedy and wider community who know and love Pat will want to help the family out at this challenging time.

Please dig as deep as you can for this amazing man! He is the most generous person in comedy and we want to get behind him and his family and show them our support.
