Patrick's Recovery Fund

On January 30th at 8pm, sixteen year old Patrick and 6 of his friends were hanging out by the movie theater in downtown Merced, California. A crazed man opened fire on the group of children with a shotgun from across the main boulevard. Patrick and 3 other boys were shot, Patrick's injuries were the most intense taking shot to the shoulder and through the head into his brain. The police arrived on site finding Patrick unconscious and near death, they called for helicopter rescue to rush him to the hospital.  Our family is 1 week into this ordeal, and reaching out to fellow family members and our friends for help to put together a recovery fund for Patrick. He is currently in the ICU and has undergone a few surgeries already in attempts to repair holes in his skull and relieve pressure that is building in his brain. His mother Brittni has been by his side every moment, and she is in dire need of our support as she helps her son through this terrible time.  This will be a long recovery for Patrick wich will require days of missed work for his mother, many costly procedures and rehabilitation therapy that is currently unknown due to the amount of damage to his brain right now.
