Funeral Expenses for Patrick
I am heartbroken to announce the passing of my step dad, Patrick Reichert. Patrick passed unexpectedly, at 46 years young, from complications of Covid. He fought hard for 3 weeks but was called home this morning. Anyone who had ever been in Patrick's presence can confirm he was the most genuine, caring, happiest, nicest, easiest, open minded person in the world and was never without a smile. Patrick always knew how to lighten the mood with a good joke that you could not help but laugh at, no matter what kind of mood you were in. He will be missed beyond measure.
I've known Patrick half my life and never once heard him raise his voice. He walked into our family of 6 crazy kids (plus crazy adults!) and made himself at home. When my grandma got sick, he was the one who helped her the most. Patrick accepted my family without hesitation and was there for us no matter what. He made sure each one of my siblings took the right path in life and never gave up when any of us ventured off once or twice. There was never an ounce of hate or anger in his heart. He did everything we ever asked. Patrick was my mom's life partner and the only child to two amazing parents, George and Margot. Patrick not only leaves behind 6 adult children, but a 14 year old son.
My family is heartbroken and cant make any sense of this. Patrick was an angel on Earth and we wish we could have kept him in our lives for another 46 years. It will take a lot of grieving to heal from this, if healing is even possible. Please find it in your hearts to donate to help with his son, Deklan's care going forward and to assist my mother in recovering the expenses of Patrick's out of state hospital stay and funeral expenses.
We are forever grateful for any help you are able to give. Last but not least, please uplift our family in prayer. We need that now more than anything at this time. God Bless.
