Patrolman Albert Saccocia Memorial Fundraiser

Patrolman Albert Saccocia suffered a fatal heart attack moments after Quelling A Large Fight at a Local Nightclub, the Casa Loma. He and another Officer were attempting to break up the fight, which Involved approximately 20 people, when one of the fighters took his nightclub and struck him with it several times. He collapsed and died approximately five minutes after the fighting was stopped. Patrolman Saccocia had served with the agency for 15 Years. He was survived By His wife and three children aged 12-3. He served in the Navy during WW2 and was also instrumental in bringing Little League Baseball and Youth Football to the town.
We would like to finally erect a Memorial to Albert Saccocia in town to honor his service and ultimate sacrifice. Please donate to be sure this project is a success. The Recognition Ceremony will be May 15, 2025, Fallen Officer Memorial Day.
