Pat's for Cats (Hudson Valley Humane Society)
Tax deductible
If you knew Pat McCallum, you know that the only thing he loved as much as comic books (possibly more) was cats. He always had a soft spot for the little furry guys.
Early in my career, I shared a house with Pat and a few other co-workers from Wizard Magazine. Pat came with 3 instant-roommates, though. The acrobatic-yet-always-petrified Broccoli, the more-more-dough-than-fur Muffin, and the most-evil-and-vicious-little-black-cat-you-will-ever-meet Pee Wee Soup. Each had their own very distinct personality and each was treated with equal love by Pat.
We may have lost Pat, but I'd love to keep his memory alive by raising money for the Hudson Valley Humane SPCA. It's the local humane society and if we can help make this world a little more comfortable for even just one cat, I know it would've meant the world to Pat.
Any donation you can offer (no matter how small, seriously) can go a very long way.
