Patsy Requires an Urgent Neurological Assessment
Donation protected
Hi my name is Christina England. I need your help.
I adopted Patsy as a healthy 4 months old puppy.
Sadly, at 18 months she suddenly became paralysed with two exploded discs and required urgent surgery. Fortunately she made a full recovery. However, she was diagnosed with IVDD a degenative disc disease.
She is now six. I recently noticed a remarked deterioration. She no longer plays, jumps onto the sofa or bed, is grumpy and very unstable. She falls to one side, knuckles and her back legs cross when she walks.
After scans it was determined that her spine has deteriorated. She has two protruding discs and some spinal compression.
The vet has recommended an urgent neurological assessment, with view to an MRI and possible surgery.
After scans, I only have £4600 left on insurance. I know from her previous surgery that I will need at least £8000 and that is without physiotherapy.
I am a pensioner and have three other disabled dogs.
All funds from this fundraiser will be used to pay for her neurological assessment and MRI.
Please support me so that I can help Patsy.
