Patti & ALS

This is my friend Patti who has been diagnosed with ALS. In February 2016, she ran 14 miles; by June, she could not run at all. Patti, a nurse practitioner, lives with her husband and their two young boys in a tri-level house. Patti is now fully dependent on a walker, and everyday life has getting increasingly difficult. In her battle with ALS, Patti needs funds now for hand controls for her car, motorized lifts for the multiple sets of stairs in her home and mounting medical bills.

 I’m John, Patti's pastor at Gracepointe Church in Mundelein, IL. Patti encouraged me several years ago when I took up running again. In 2015 we both run a half marathon. She started with me, then being a faster runner, preceded me to the finish line and was there to cheer me on. On March 18, 2017, I will be running for Patti in the St. Paddy’s 10k race in Deer Park, IL. Will you help me cheer Patti on in her race against ALS by your financial donation?
