Patti Parris-a helping hand

This is Patti (Pat) Parris. She has spent her life as an Emergency Department Nurse, ED Nurse Clinician, Educator and Nursing Instructor. She has that special gift that many of us strive to acheive, yet find ourselves falling short of. She has mastered both the Art and the Science of this thing we call Nursing. With a persistent smile, perpetual patience and unfailing compassion, she has cared for humanity in all of its forms. She has dedicated her life to teaching nurses how to give exceptional care through both her expert knowledge and her undying compassion. She has taught thousands of nursing students, Paramedic students, and nursing staff to care for the critically ill, the injured, those in psychiatric crisis and everyone else who ended up in the ED. She has spent her life bringing a calm expertise into the chaos that is the ED. Now SHE is the critically ill. Patti is in a battle for her life. She has a complex brain tumor and is traveling out of state for treatment. She has a long road ahead and a young granddaughter to support. Please donate to help this saver-of-lives with her battle.
