Patti grew up on a cattle ranch in Florida, as an adult she managed and helped raise registered Black Angus cattle alongside her father. Having also been fox hunting the majority of her life, she has served as a whipper-in for Two Rivers Hounds and is currently serving as a whipper-in for South Creek Foxhounds. Patti is also an Equine Reproduction Technologist and specializes in raising field hunters.
Patti is fundraising for Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation based out of Tampa, Florida. She is also familiar with cancer and the struggles it brings to families. She lost her sister to melanoma at a young age, her father in 2012 and most recently her aunt last year. Moffitt Cancer Center aided in the care and support of her aunt’s battle with cancer.
The Mongol Derby is the longest, toughest horse race in the world. Patti chose to take on the challenge of this race to fundraise and promote for Moffitt Cancer Center.
